Screen Description
In the Add Designator screen, you can assign a designator number within a subject area to an instructor.
Details
If you came to this screen from the Designator List screen
- Subject
- Subject area to which you are adding a designator; this is the subject area that you selected in the Designator List screen
- Instructor
- Select the instructor from this drop down menu to whom you want to assign a designator number
- The list of instructors is the same as in your Instructors screen (to add a name that is not in the list, you need to go to Instructors)
- Code
- Enter the unique designator number that you want to assign to the selected instructor
If you came to this screen from the Instructor Detail screen
- Subject
- Subject area for which you are adding a designator; if there is more than one subject area in your department(s), you will have a drop down list to choose from
- Instructor
- Code
- Enter the unique designator number that you want to assign to the selected instructor for the selected subject area
Operations
- Save (Alt+S)
- Save changes and go back to the Designator List screen
- You will get a warning if you are trying to assign a designator code that is already being used for another instructor in the selected subject area
- Back (Alt+B)
